Our hereafter depends on our present! A control and well supervision over our natural resources will not only extend the life of our beautiful world but also bring a collective beneficiary supervene to the whole universe. Lets have a look only some daily noticeable points to saving our electricity... Or better saying "saving our pocket to spend for tomorrow"... Save the electric funds for not only your financial year but also for an allinclusive growing population of the world.

The plan of timers and self-acting switches:

Timers are the devices which switch on or off an electric circuit. It is whether manually timed or controlled straight through an bright remote commander or timed via manual/digital clocks. All kinds of such timers are basically on/off switches load off the electric necessity when it is not precisely required. For an example, the light system of your house should not be designed to let on when it is adequate day-light! Here, the plan of such timers can play a financially principal role. Let me give you an example. If a light bulb of 100W stays lighted for the whole 24 hours a day will consume an whole of 2400W or 2.4 Kw or 0.1 kWh (kilowatt hour) which will cost in a month 3kWh times the unit of electric energy. Now let me suppose if this bulb is controlled such that one uses only when it is dark duration during the 24 hours - median 8 to 10 hours - then the median consumed whole will be reduced from 3kWh a month to 1.75 kWh a month which is about 40 % decrease of the whole consumption of a singular 100 W electric bulb. Okay, now if the are about 10 kinds of same electric appliances in a home, which simply, work as the slight as about 10 hours a day which would in turn lead to save about 40% of the whole funds if they are consumed full time.




Sensor technology:

Movement sensors, light dependants, pressure dependent, temperature controllers, magnetic field effects, self-acting switches etc... Are also an additional one class of such savers. In gardens and collective places which are not often used in the evenings, the use of such controllers can bring principal conservation of electric energy. Smart usage of such electrical circuit breakers can somehow bring a plan of "load shedding" of the electrical energy. It means the electrical power consumed in an area of the city e.g. Parks, open spaces, street lights etc... Can be saved by just cutting-off the unnecessary demand. That would bring a definite aspect in the allinclusive cheaper of a country and also the environment problems.

Power conservation:

Modern Light emitting diodes (Led) are a magnificent alternative to saving electric energy. Let us compare, the cost of a complete Led unit is 100 Us$ which can be somehow let me say 5 - 10 times high-priced than a normal incandescent or fluorescent lamp of 60 watt. But the advantages are its life span, smartness of the device and energy consumption ...

Because of a broad horizon of utilization e.g. Greatest energy-efficiency, variety in bright colors, illumination, Led are being used in instrument panels, electronics, penlights, in door and out door applications, traffic controlling signals and varied fields of life. The long continuing duration compared to that of fluorescent lamps levels the usage of efficient diodes up. Not only the life time of a device but also its easy to use, durability cool light, energy saving are some of salient features. It means about 80- 90% of the heat security which is produced by an incandescent bulb. All such parameters explicitly give about 80% of the reduction of global electricity, which also co-related to our beautiful environment.

Switch off the electronic equipment wholly if you don't use it. Turn the monitor of your Pc Off, I personally never let the notebook in standby mode it does use the Ac in order to generate the Dc power which keeps the notebook into standby mode. Well, plainly if you don't use over the night, let it be turned off.

Interesting is to note the heat energy dissipation factor in houses, Well, if a strong attentions on "sealing a house" is given when a house is constructed, then the aggregated whole of electric energy dissipated on electric heaters and boilers would be lessened to one third.

While buying house hold electrical appliances, take a good care of energy consumption ratings. In Germany, there is rating from A to G (7 levels). The best class is A which means not only an efficiency in electric energy but also over all performance i.e. Capacity, Noise, spinning speed, water consumption, icy power, cooling abilities and other ratings which depends on the appliance etc...! Although once you have to spend, somehow, a good whole but the advantage is long term and allinclusive for the whole humanity and for the green environment of coming generations.

Least but not the last, when you leave the office close all the windows (heat conservation) and switch off the light and the appliances which you use in the office. Not only from your office but also when you are at "overtimes" afterwards leaving the main corridor and the mains too (Well, this is for the members of a small-medium scale company, where movement sensors are not installed for lightening...)
